Update-Photos: Summer Aphrodisiac Supper
In the tradition of superb aphrodisiac meals of the past, Clandestino served up an aphrodisiac feast using some very special ingredients.
Thanks to master guitarrista Neil Dixon Smith for a beautiful performance.
- Pickled oysters w/ cucumber cappellini and caviar
- Rocket salad w/ local baby beets and chevre
- Ancho linguini w/ sweet corn, garden squash, huitlacoche, and Saxon creamery cheese
- Octopus w/ white beans, purslane, and avocado mousse
- Flourless chocolate cake w/ chile piquin, white chocolate sweet corn ganache, huitlacoche frozen custard
The aphrodisiac feast was held at The Wine Consortium in the South Loop’s motor row district. Across the street from the Burger King on S. Michigan.
